6.01

the original. taken over at the Life Cycle Building. The stairs seen from the very bottom. It took a bit to get it all straight and perfect.

first run through in photoshop. just to brighten it a little and warm it up.

last iteration. warmer with more red tones and a little more contrast to really bring out the subtleties in the brick.

Easter is...eatin' Peeps!

the original.

brightened up a little. trying to get the brick to pop a little more. and contrast with the blue more. the clouds look a little weird.

unsuccessful because the sky washed out to an ugly color. the building looks okay though.

my favorite of the group. though the brick could be defined a little better and the sky could be a better color. but its close.

5.02

the original. a wall in Georgetown.

the color is a little too intense. but i like the way the light has become more prominent.

the color is more intense then the original, but not too intense. and the reflected light is showing up nicely. the space feels brighter then it actually was.

5.01

the original.

trying to get the color to pop a little more.

desaturated. just to see if its actually a good picture compositionally.

4.04

4.03

the original. an interesting look at the library.

played with the levels to really get the colors to be richer.

straightened the picture to make it look less awkward. also cropped the right side, cropping out some of the more awkward looking books. rather focusing on the greens, golds, and reds in the picture.
