i liked the way the sun was coming through the leaves. leaving shadows and showing the transparency of the leaves.

a broken building in DC. i really liked the texture of it. all the bits and pieces falling off. the way a wall looks when its been shredded.

i just thought it funny that these two dogs were staring so intently at something across the street. another one of those "unseen" moments.

i really liked the depth of this photo. and the afternoon light was beautiful. the white of the tulips was so bright, but not stark.

6.03

the original. Whitehurst Freeway just off the Foggy Bottom metro.

cropped a bit on the right side. colors are played with. gave it more of a warmer yellow tone rather then the colder blue tone of the original. deepened the shadows and enhanced the trees in the background.

6.02

the original. taken in georgetown. the step up to the entrance was interesting. lo and behold...and architecture firm.

my favorite of the photoshoped image. it fades the background a little and brings out the contrast between the tree and the concrete step.

a little more dramatic. deep shadows and more color in the brick.

6.01

the original. taken over at the Life Cycle Building. The stairs seen from the very bottom. It took a bit to get it all straight and perfect.

first run through in photoshop. just to brighten it a little and warm it up.

last iteration. warmer with more red tones and a little more contrast to really bring out the subtleties in the brick.
